Terms and Conditions
Definitions:
The Purchaser - The individual, company or trader
who is dealing online with The London Satellite Co. Ltd for the
purchase of The Product(s);
The Website - The London Satellite Online Shop;
The Product(s) - Any item listed for sale on The
London Satellite Online Shop;
General
The London Satellite Online Shop is mail order only. By purchasing
any of The Product(s) listed on The Website
you agree to these terms and conditions.
Ordering
UK customers only. Orders from The Purchaser
will be taken by electronic form on The Website
or via FAX (0871 1604628). All The Products are
ready to ship within 3 working days of ordering. In case The
Product(s) ordered is not available The Purchaser
will be informed immediately either by email or by phone. If The
Product(s) is out of stock at the time the order was placed,
The Purchaser will have the choice to wait untill
they become available or opt for a full refund which will be in
the form of a UK cheque.
Payments
Payments must be received in full prior to shipping. Payments made
by cheque are subject to 5 days bank clearance. The London Satellite
Online Shop accepts UK Debit and Credit cards through Nochex. All
the card details and other sensitive information from The
Purchaser will be processed on a secure server using the
highest commercially available encryption key length of 128-bits
provided by BT Trustwise and Verisign offered by Nochex.
NONE OF YOUR CARD DETAILS WILL BE DISCLOSED TO US, NOR WILL YOUR
PERSONAL DETAILS BE DISCLOSED OR PASSED IN ANY WAY TO ANY THIRD
PARTY.
Shipping
Shipping will by by Royal Mail Special Delivery for small items
or by other national courier(s) for satellite receivers, LCD screens
and any other large items. Please allow 2-3 working days from the
date the order was placed.
Returns & Refunds
Return and refunds will be dealt with in accordance with the UK
Distance Selling Regulations 2000.
The Purchaser has the right to return The
Product(s) within 7 days from the day of delivery if this
does not entirely satisfy their expectations. The Product(s)
must be returned as new with all parts and original packaging at
The Purchaser's expense.
The London Satellite Online Shop reserves the right to apply a 20%
handling charge on the sale price of the The Product(s)
returned. The Purchaser will be issued with a credit
note which can be used for purchases made on The Website.
VIEWING CARDS AND CONDITIONAL ACCESS MODULES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE.
RETURNS & REFUNDS DO NOT APPLY TO SERVICES PAID FOR
ONLINE.
Warranty
All The Product(s) listed on The Website
come with 12 months warranty unless otherwise stated on the description.
The Product(s) found faulty will be either replaced
or repaired as appropriate. All the shipping charges to and from
our premises will be paid by The Purchaser. The
Product(s) found to be not faulty, tampered with, or with
different softwares, firmwares, legal or illegal from the original
package will be repaired, if possible, at The Purchaser's
own cost and sent back at The Purchaser's expense.
CONDITIONAL ACCESS MODULES (CAMs) AND SATELLITE RECEIVERS will be
sold with original software. Any other software loaded, upgraded
or in anyway different from the original WILL INVALIDATE THE WARRANTY.
THE LONDON SATELLITE ONLINE SHOP HAS THE RIGHT TO CHANGE
THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AT ANY TIME WITHOUT NOTICE.
